Medical Career
History
I began my medical training with a match to a competitive Rural Family Medicine residency at University of Kansas Medical Center. While fostering an interest in preventative medicine, anti-aging and minor procedures, I was exposed to a wide variety of medical industries. After completing my residency and becoming board certified in 2012, I began my professional career as Medical Director of a small town Urgent care clinic in Wisconsin, with that experience, and a growing passion for medical aesthetics, I relocated to Denver and founded Willpower Medical & Fitness and Altitude Aesthetics, focusing on anti-aging and regenerative medicine. Today, I continue to follow advances in medical aesthetics, bio-identical hormone replacement through my practice, 406MD in beautiful Whitefish, Montana. Gravitating towards medical directorship opportunities, I work with many local nursing facilities to improve quality and efficiency of care. Additionally, to meet the need of lower cost alternative to health insurance, I began work with a local, membership based health care co-op called Core Healthcare, which has been meeting its low-cost objective since day 1. I also enjoy working with various startups as well as global corporations as a Medical Consultant. I continue to follow the progression of medicine and apply what I've learned to help enrich and improve the lives of my patients, partners and fellow providers.
My Skill-set
With a wide variety of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Geriatric, Palliative care and Rural Family medicine practice experiences, medical director positions, and business management, I have enjoyed the role and responsibility of improving efficiencies, patient satisfaction, safety, and provide feedback and guidance for multiple industries within the field of medicine. Entrepreneurship requires dedication, reliability, independent study, and the ability to form and maintain lasting relationships.
My Goals
Continue to apply my experience and education to organizations that focus on delivering exceptional care to its patients. With a rapidly changing healthcare landscape, I will continue to push forward with solutions rather than focus and dwell on any faults of the system.
